About these terms
The website phoot.io is operated by Phoot Technologies (“we”, “us”), N883 Ntoaso Ln, Nsawam, Eastern Region, Ghana. You can contact us at support@phoot.io or on +233 20 009 1571.
These terms govern your use of the website. They do not govern any services we provide to you; those are covered by the written proposal, quotation or agreement we make with you for each project.
By using the website you accept these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
Using the website
The website describes our services, shows examples of our work and publishes articles. You may use it for your own information and to contact us about our services.
You agree not to:
- use the website in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any system connected to it, or interfere with its security or operation;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code, or overload the website with automated requests;
- send spam, misleading or abusive messages through our forms; or
- copy or scrape the website’s content for republication or commercial use without our written permission.
We may restrict or block access to anyone who breaks these terms.
Enquiries and consultation requests
Sending an enquiry or a free consultation request does not create a contract or commit you or us to any work.
A consultation request is a request only: an appointment is arranged when we contact you and agree a time. Consultations are free and without obligation.
Any work we carry out is subject to a separate written proposal or agreement that sets out the scope, timeline, price and terms for that work.
Please make sure the details you send are accurate and are yours to share.
Prices and information on the website
We aim to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general information only.
- Prices, ranges and timelines mentioned in our pages and articles are indicative. They are not an offer, and the final price depends on your requirements and is confirmed in writing.
- Articles and guides are general information, not professional, legal or financial advice for your situation.
Our content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the content of the website is owned by or licensed to Phoot Technologies and is protected by intellectual property laws. This includes the text, design, graphics, photographs, code and our name and logo.
You may view, download and print pages for your own personal or internal business use. You may share links to the website, and short quotations with a link to the source.
Client names, logos and trademarks shown in our portfolio and case studies belong to their respective owners and are shown to describe work we have done for them. Their appearance does not mean the client endorses anything beyond that work.
Links to other websites
The website links to other websites, including our client portal at office.phoot.io, WhatsApp, social networks, client websites and sources cited in our articles. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of websites we do not operate, and a link does not mean we endorse them. Their own terms and policies apply.
Availability
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Liability
The website is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and representations about the website and its content. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or from reliance on its content. This includes indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when they were last revised. The version published when you use the website applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. The courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without affecting any right you may have to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
